    Covert Surveillance
     
    Our surveillance service is aimed at both the Insurance and Corporate Markets. We specialise in covert surveillance involving employer and public liability personnel injury claims. We also specialise in covert surveillance as a tool to combating corporate fraud.

    We have an excellent market reputation with our industry for providing quality evidence, which exceed industry standards. Year after year, we save our insurance and corporate clients vast sums of money through our specialist knowledge and evidence gathering techniques. Indeed, we currently hold national contracts with a number of Global Insurers in relation to covert surveillance in personal injury cases, where claims range from hundreds of thousands to millions of pounds.

    Our nationwide team of specialist operatives are trained in surveillance techniques, capable of producing highly sought after evidence which can be produced in court to combat suspected fraud. All our surveillance operatives are in-house trained on evidence gathering techniques, legislation issues and codes of ethics, which our clients demand.
     
    We provide surveillance coverage in both the UK and abroad and offer our clients a number of guarantees when instructing us. We offer our insurance clients a unique and fully inclusive surveillance package which our nearest rivals are unable to match. In doing so, we not only increase the time allocation to the case but also increase the quality and likelihood of a successful outcome.
     
    Unlike some of our competitors, we do not restrict the allocated period to normal business hours nor do we cease surveillance at the point where our budget ends. We feel our clients deserve a far better service than that. As a guarantee, we will ensure surveillance periods are allocated to times when the likelihood of activity from a claimant is greater and not work to a stringent 8am -3pm day on a Monday to Friday basis. We also guarantee not to terminate observations when activity by a claimant is taking place, purely on the basis that our time allocation and budget has been reached.
     

    Through our working practises, we are able to offer our clients the following package in any employer or public liability personal injury surveillance case:

     

  • A minimum of 3 days surveillance coverage for a standard 2 day budget, inclusive of all associated costs.
  • The allocation of covert surveillance and back up vehicles as standard
  • The use of top quality Sony and Panasonic recording equipment capable of Super Steady Shot zoom and high pixel resolution.
  • Surveillance periods allocated to periods when we feel activity by a claimant is more likely, including unsociable hours and weekends.
  • The allocation of as many operatives to a case which we deem fit and appropriate in order to achieve a satisfactory result.
  • Reports produced within an agreed timescale and provided in hard copy and secure PDF formats.

    Claims Validation
     
    Insurance claims investigations are a specialist service. Investigations require experienced staff that are able to undertake the relevant services thoroughly, professionally and diligently. Our claims investigation staff are made up of former high ranking Police personnel and in-house trained operatives. They are capable of obtaining relevant information from witnesses using their experience in interview techniques and able to observe trigger points during interview to combat potential fraud. We offer a number of services to the insurance markets including the following: The provision of Witness Statements The provision of Accident locus Reports, Sketch Plans and Photographs Motor Theft Investigation reports Suspicious Accident Claims – “Staged Accident” investigations
     
    We operate these services on a national basis and have invested, not only in training and resources, but in state of the art digital software and detailed CAD design systems, ensuring our clients are provided with the highest quality productions and digital images with high clarity. Together with our clients, we have designed pro-forma reporting formats which ensures all relevant questions, productions and investigations have been met, leaving no stone unturned.
     
    We adhere to strict service level agreements and where possible offer a fixed fee service designed specifically for particular clients and their requirements.
     
    Litigation Support
     
    Our litigation support service is aimed at a number of sectors including the legal, financial and corporate markets. We provide a wide range of services to support either a forthcoming or current litigation action or to provide evidence on the financial position of an individual or limited company.
     
    We have an excellent market reputation within our industry for providing quality and accurate intelligence at a cost effective price, which benefits our client’s needs and requirements. We operate both an in-house and nationwide field support service within strict service level agreements, enabling us to service instructions anywhere within the UK at short notice.
     
    We operate a no-trace, no-fee price structure on volume instructions and fixed fees in volume status reports, employment traces and asset recovery services.

    Our tracing services offer our clients alternatives to writing off monies owed in debt recovery cases when no further point of contact can be found for debtors. Our in-house tracing staff has decades of experience in tracing both individuals and companies who appear to be off the radar. This experience and knowledge, combined with our access to a number of local sources and credit reference tracing databases, ensures the chances of a positive result being increased dramatically.
     
    Our financial status report service provides clients with relevant intelligence and financial information on an individual or limited company. This intelligence enables them to either proceed with litigation, knowing the third party has sufficient assets in which to recover funds due, or to cease the action knowing the prospects of a successful recovery are limited. Reports are combined through in-house investigations and database intelligence together with our highly experienced nationwide field investigation teams. To enhance this service, we are able to provide clients with the current status and employment details of an individual. This provides them to have a further point of contact in which to correspond or an alternative measure in which to recover funds due in debt recovery litigation cases.
     
    In line with these services we also offer clients intelligence on the credit rating of both individuals and companies, enabling them to make take quick and decisive action on whether to award credit or to enter into an agreement with an individual or company based on their financial standing.
     
    Our Asset Recovery service is also offered to the financial and corporate markets. We operate a nationwide field support service in vehicle and asset recovery. Adhering to our client’s instructions and consumer credit legislation, we ensure negotiations with customers and successful recovery takes place decisively and assets delivered to pre arranged destinations.
     
    Corporate Fraud Investigation
     
    Given the current financial climate, it is a worrying fact that year after year millions of pounds is lost to business through theft and fraud in the workplace. Over £40m is lost everyday to fraud within the United Kingdom alone. 90% of fraudulent employees have been with their employer for over a year.
     

    At Leonard’s we work in partnership with employers who suffer theft and fraud in the workplace. Fraud comes in various formats and is seriously detrimental to running a business.     Through a number of valuable services, we work in tandem with employers to combat these problems. We offer a number of covert surveillance options capable of monitoring the movements of employees either within the workplace, or out-with, to confirm any suspicions of malingering or using their labour elsewhere. Covert camera installation is a service which is extremely valuable in obtaining information in areas of the workplace where normal surveillance procedures are limited.
     
    We also offer employers a covert vehicle tracking service which can show the movements of an employee’s vehicle 24/7 over a protracted period. Our vehicle tracking equipment is second to none and is used by a number of government agencies and security services throughout the world. Employers can either track the movements via software supplied or receive regular reports from our staff at any period throughout the day. This ensures you are aware of your employee’s vehicle movements at any time, which may highlight or confirm crucial information or locations useful to you.
     
    Where employers have suspicions of staff obtaining information to sell on to competitors for financial gain or staff who may be providing information to a third party, we can provide the solution. We offer a service which can provide valuable financial status information on an individual, who may well be living above their apparent means. This could confirm whether an employee is possibly receiving financial gain in return for providing valuable information on your company.
     
    To enhance our service further to the corporate markets, we also offer a computer forensic service to employers, who have suspicions of staff who may be using e-mails to provide valuable information to a third party or staff who may merely be abusing their privilege to view internet sites and send e-mails, when of course, they should be productive. Even though employees may think they have deleted secret e-mails or gained access to internet sites without your knowledge, this information can be retrieved through our experienced forensic personnel and state of the art software. Access to the PC or laptop can be gained by either a visit to your premises or by providing the machinery to us.
