After setting up Leonard Investigations in 1998 Derek has built the company into one of the UKs premier surveillance and litigation support service providers. His company prides itself by maintaining their position in a very competitive market place, and by ensuring they offer their clients the highest quality of service possible. He has achieved this position by sheer hard work and keeping pace with the changes in the profession. Kathleen Connelly BSc (Hons)
Kathleen is the company secretary and is responsible for the day to day administration of the business. She is also the financial controller of LEONARDS. Kathleen is a highly experienced manager with an accounting qualification and an honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy to her name. She has extensive experience of managing and controlling budgets and since becoming company secretary she has become a popular member of the team and viewed in high regard with our key clients. Prior to becoming company secretary, Kathleen was employed for 16 years with Scottish Water. She is energetic, highly driven and very structured in her working practices.
Litigation Support Manager
Prior to joining Leonard Investigations Colette worked in debt and asset recovery and has the ideal qualities for her position. She is calm under pressure, very organised, and thorough. Colette enjoys her role at Leonards where she has grown and developed her remit as Litigation Support Manager, and is always keen to learn and develop her expertise. Colette has become an indispensable part of the team.
Surveillance Teams Coordinator
Prior to joining Leonards Barry was a police officer with more than 30 years’ experience in the force. During his time with the force he developed his surveillance skills by spending 15 years working at The Force Surveillance Unit and at the Scottish Crime & Drug Enforcement Agency (SCDEA). These skills have proved invaluable in the work Barry does for Leonards as Surveillance Teams Co-ordinator. Barry has the essential qualities required for surveillance work, in particular remaining calm under pressure, the ability to think on your feet, and lots of patience. Barry is a popular and valued member of the team.
